Passover Argentina 2010/Passover Recipes
Charoset
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp potato starch
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3-4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped into small pieces
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/4-1/2 cup white raisins
  • Cinnamon
  • wine to taste

Mix water, potato starch, sugar and honey in a saucepan. Cook and stir until thick and clear. Cool
Prepare apples and nuts. Mix with honey mixture. Add cinnamon to taste. (we like lots of it)

I make large batches of this because my family eats it!

Just before serving mix in wine by Tablespoon. Mix all of the above together. Makes two cups.
